Re: [Amel] Inner forestay drawing
There seem to be a lot of Super Maramus out there with inner forestays.
DO we assume that they are all as per the JFP modification ? ie just lashed to the cleat with no below deck support.

Hi Jose,
Nice to talk to fellow Euros owner. I guess there is no easy solution then. It would have been nice just to replace few parts and have it working. Still, a bit afraid of moving track to

Hi Dave,
That sounds interesting. Why did you keep the original track below the new one? Was Goiot track difficult to remove or was it something else that brought you to that solution?

Re: Euros mainsheet track
Hi Ullar,
I have an Amel 41 at the Spanish Mediterranean coast.
I have not been able to find traveler or stoppers that match the track T profile (as it is not exactly a T). So I keep them dearly.

Re: Yanmar 75hp plus ZF30M with shaft alternator on a Maramu
Richard,
Thanks. As I understand it these smaller ZF mechanical boxes can be freewheeled or left in reverse to lock the shaft. They should not be left in forward or the clutch plates wear out. Maybe

Not Not sure about the bracket holes but you must be sure that that transmission will survive freewheeling to run the alternator off the transmission shaft.

Amiot switch panel bulbs
Hello everyone - some of the blue lights on my Amel 54 24V switch panel have blown. These are just to illuminate the switches at night. Unlike the red lights indicating a circuit is switched on

Yanmar 75hp plus ZF30M with shaft alternator on a Maramu
Is there anyone with a ZF30M gearbox who happens to know if there are bolt holes to mount a shaft alternator bracket like those present on the ZF25M (Hurth 250)? The Yanmar 75hp can be bought standard

Hello everybody,
My wife Ellen and I are fresh owners of an old Amel. We bought our Euros 41 no 250 last summer and sailed it for a couple of months on Baltic before wintering it on shore in Estonia.
