Re: Euros mainsheet track
Ullar,
The Harken low beam track should work as it has some flexibility. I would check the Harken documentation available on their website and review the installation instructions.

Re: Hydranet sails
Thanks.
So, the client on the catamaran had positive feedback over about two years of use. What would you say the benefits of these carbon/technora sails might be on a Super Maramu vs. other cloth

I am of the opinion, thumping the shrouds with a rubber mallet as posted previously on this site to determine the tension is a load of crap. I downloaded a manual (and there are quite a few) on masts

Re: [Amel] Standing Rigging Tension
Richard,
For the Maramu, which as you know is single spreader, do you advise that level of tension on aft lowers as well?

That was a few years ago when I wrote that post. Customer sold the boat last year but feedback was quite positive. That sail will be good for quite some time.

Hi all the stays need to be very tight. Using a wood hammer handle tap each stay if it has a sharp ring its good if "flat" it is not. When going to the wind the lee stays must not go slack.

There seem to be a lot of Super Maramus out there with inner forestays.
DO we assume that they are all as per the JFP modification ? ie just lashed to the cleat with no below deck support.
