My contribution - if it helps?
We are now on our second set of solar panels, the first appeared to have a manufacturing fault and someof the cells burned through.
Both installations have been 2 sets

Kent
The disturbing thing about this is the whole rigging had been replaced only one year before and by a major US rigger. It was the swage fitting at the top of the mast that failed. Lesson learned,

Gary, I will completely answer when I can get to my laptop. It was the freshwater exchanger. There are some gaskets and O rings you must have before attempting. I will come back with details and

Re: [Amel] Domestic Water pressure switch.
Richard:
Can you share with the forum the make and model of the on demand pump(s) that you used for the fresh water system?
I used a March submersible magnetic coupled impeller pump, 230 volt 50/60

That is very helpful. Thanks for the On-Off info. I will look into it. When used as a hull cleaner does it etch the gelcoat at all?
Which Yanmar heat heat exchanger did you clean? Was it

I think you are right about the brush. I had not thought about the
annodizing. However if there are severe areas of corrosion , I really do not
know what I would do if I had that problem.

Re: [Amel] Domestic Water pressure switch.
The answer is yes. There is no longer a need for the tank. You get steady pressure all the time.
