Hi we tie the wheel to the ring to the starboard side of the wheel. We use that ring when on the mooring, hov two, and when at a dock.

I put an eye bolt through the bulkhead just below and to starboard of the wheel. I tie the wheel off with a short piece of line.

Yes but the ground relay also operates when the stop button is pushed,
unless I am mistaken? I have never had a starting problem though.
I sent you the circuit diagram a few minutes ago.

Had the same problem, paddle wheel stuck. Brought the unit down, striped and cleaned, put back up. Two years ago, no problems since. Can't remember what I did but it was quick and easy and involved
