In a previous post today I suggested using the autoprop grease nipple
adapter and 5 mm nylon bolts.
No corrosion !!! also , once you have the gearbox disassembled you can see
where to mount the

I recently contacted Leroy-Somer to see if I could get any spare parts directly there exact words were "Unfortunatly this SPECIAL unit was supplied to a machine maker in high volume, we cannot offer

If you have a bow eye for snapping in your tether next to the wheel as I do
just tie the wheel to the bow eye. However pad it otherwise the leather will
get abraded.

We too had the end cap split there, once. I think the size of the O ring used on the steel cross piece is critical, too large and it puts excessive pressure on the plastic. When ours failed I
