Not much clean water in "Clear Lake", but I think I should make an effort and dive far in the bay.

I like your idea to put some zinc near the anchor!!! I will give it a try once I clean mine!
I just posted the pictures on the forum, last night... not sure where they are

Hello Alexandre, The first company I went to could not do it, the second was a big commercial galvaniser used by manufacturers of all sizes of iron goods and so their hot dip tank must have been huge

I just uploaded 3 pictures of the fan in the engine room.
I don't know if all Super Maramu are the same, but for sure NIKIMAT SM2K #289 has a 220 Volt, followed by a 24 Volt (not 12 volt).

Re: [Amel] Turbo desapointment... Vetus - where to leverage to move engine?
Unless you can remove the vetus from the shaft of the C drive, yes. I found to remove the vetus was a major job so I took the much easier and very satifactory method of cutting them and replacing them

Re: [Amel] Turbo desapointment... Vetus - where to leverage to move engine?
Good evening Danny,
Thanks for the explanation on where to use the lever!
Will I have to cut the bolts for sure??? I don't remember reading that originally...

Re: [Amel] Chain too long to be regalvanized...
Haven't done anything yet.
I thought I could have it sandblasted, then do a cold galvanized spay, then paint it.
I am open to suggestion!

If memory serves me correctly, I believe the second fan is a 12 volt jabsco
fan and runs off of the yanmar alternator.

Re: [Amel] Turbo desapointment... Vetus - where to leverage to move engine?
H Alexandre,
To lever to engine away there is a cross beam below the gearbox. Place the end of your lever there, select a solid place on the engine to push against and lever it a little at a time,

Re: [Amel] Play in Vetus flexible coupler... Where to buy bushing in tUSA?
Those postings about it being a "ceramic" bushing were wrong...it was never a ceramic bushing which would not have worked at all. A misunderstanding due to Spanish-English

Hello Kent,
Well I read may previous post of bushing Vetus bushing replaced with ceramic, etc.
Personally I prefer to stick with Vetus original equipment.
Thanks again!!!

When I had my boat repowered in Puerto Rico, the bushings were noted to be worn quite a bit. My mechanic had some new ones made at a local mechanic shop of polypropylline (Sp?) which comes in

I don't fully understand the two-charger scenario, Bill, but when I replaced both the old chargers (one failed in Trinidad, the other when I got back to the US) I was told that I could run both

Good morning Bill,
Always nice to hear from you.
About the battery chargers, on the owner manual, section 2.1 it says (in a red box):
-At the Harbour: 30 A charger
-In the open sea: 50 A charger +
