I Just had to share
Today I drove from Long Island Ny to Portsmouth Rhode island with a friend. He wanted to see a Swan 66.
He had seen it previously out of to the water but now wanted to sail her.

Bill that spreadsheet sound really useful. I will take a look at the suggestions. We were trying to figure out if adding splints would still allow it to make the slight bend into our tank. We think

Dear Eric and Bill,
for the past few years I have trimmed a generic oil seal with a new Stanley blade and replaced the Jabsco original, it usually gives you another six

Ours broke as well, we drilled a small hole in each part, and tided them together edge to edge. A little bit wobbly, but it does the job.

Re: [Amel Yacht Owners] macerator motor
Eric,
Jabsco Macerator complete is 37072-0094
Kit is 90197-0000
I have given up on the kits because by the time you see leaking, damage is already done to the motor.
That is my experience. I know

Would someone please supply me with the part number of the Jabsco macerator pump on a hull number near mine and possibly the rebuild kit # for the macerator?

Re: [Amel Yacht Owners] Leaking Grease or Oil from main sail furler
Looks like they just opened it up and re greased it. It is a lot easier to just add grease fittings as I have previously described and grease the furler annually—takes 5 minutes.

Re: [Amel Yacht Owners] Re: Fuel Dip Stick
I used glue specifically made for Plexiglas. It bonded the broken halves together perfectly.
When that hardened as I said before I added 1/16 inch thick Plexiglas on either side about 8 inches long

Re: [Amel Yacht Owners] Re: Fuel Dip Stick
I am with Mark on the JB Weld, and with Eric on the splints, or instead of splints, wrap the break with 3" of fiberglass and epoxy.
The stick on BeBe is fairly accurate. I measure each time we move,

Re: [Amel Yacht Owners] Re: Fuel Dip Stick
Hi Eric,
It would be an easy project requiring a drill and something to etch the numbers with. Seems to me any plastic that isn't dissolved in diesel fuel would work. Since you have both pieces now

Eric,
I think I would fix it with epoxy putty and wrap a blob around it. JB Weld would work.

I removed the gearbox from the mast and disassembled it. The toughest part was getting the black plastic piece off. After removing the four cap screws liberal use of a rubber mallet from the side

Mark,
So the seal must have popped out?
Regarding how much grease, I do not know, but too much could not be a problem

Re: [Amel Yacht Owners] Leaking Grease or Oil from main sail furler
Ah ha!
I have no seal so, this is obviously part of the problem. Gary, if you happen to find out what size seal it is, that would be great.
Bill, thanks. I'll look for to an update from Emek. I will
