Indeed, in Amel fashion managing the ballooner is highly practical,
ingenious and novel. Probably too tricky to try to explain in words, but
here is the essence.

Mike, that's another question I should have asked at the Cbr. How do you use the mouse properly , how does it hook in and where . How do you retrieve the halyard ? How is the mouse released to bring

Re: Autopilot going off course
Depending on the age of the plotter, the intermittent problem could be a hair line fracture in the circuit board where the cables connect to the autopilot brain.

Autopilot going off course
I have had Raymarine autopilots on 3 boats.
They all seem to occasionally lose their way
and go off auto or track. Raymarine says it is a loose connection. I believe it is a software problem.

Always surprises when sailing. Glad your creative solution worked.
It is a concern that the mouse would fail. I would have thought the mouse would be virtually indestructible given its critical

We had a great sail down the Miles river and 20- 23 kts. down the Eastern Bay. We then had about a 55 miles of downwind all the way home ,so we set the poles and were flying both sails set and pulling

Hi Bill yes you are correct
His seems to be an intermittent problem with no alarm or message therefore most likely a connection issue on the power side.

Ok thanks. At the bottom of the Controler box is a row of connections. So given you don't get a message or alarm most likely you have a lose or poor power connection. Check take the covers off and

Richard,
It is a Santorin from the subject line of his earlier post about pink spots on the deck.
From the subject line of this email, I assume that he has a Raymarine Autohelm.

It is possible that you can have 1 or 2 bad batteries in the bank that will significantly reduce the available power. I like being able to test them myself, when and where I want to.
I bought 13 new
