The only way to get all the oil out is to use a vacuum pump system with a small bore tube pushed down the dipstick hole to the bottom of the sump. The push pull pump on the Yanmar starts to cavitate

Eric,The 100hp Yanmar holds 6.3 liters according to the manual. Remember, when you are pumping out, you still have the oil inside the filter. I get over 5 liters out using the engine attached pump.
