Thanks Dennis. I was a bit surprised at the cost estimate. I may be doing it myself... I work cheap.

Thanks for your comments. I have many blisters and it seems that I will eventually need to deal with them. When a blister is ground down there is an acid that comes out (we did a test on one). In

The upholstery looks great, may I ask for the cost to change? We just bought a SM where it's soon time to change as well. we will probably convert to a saloon table that drops down, not for a bunk but

Nice! I'm dealing with that now myself. I'll give it a try.

Re: Backstay Adjuster - maramu
James,
I feel a backstay is still relevant. If the mechanical adjuster is beyond repair, I'd replace it with a simple block and tackle arrangement. You can use a mechanical fitting so you don't need

The best advice I can give any new owner of an Amel is don't change anything that Amel did until you have a year onboard your Amel. Chances are your idea to change something will not look as good to

Re: [Amel Yacht Owners] Re: Maramu blisters
I had Osmosis on my previous boat and did the job correctly.. as you seem to have done also.. and then applied 4 coats of Coppercoat.
One aspect I would be careful with is the area of through hulls.

Hello Chris,
I toyed with similar ideas to yours for the dining table but as Bill said, you would be better off with good cockpit cushions. A friend owned an SM; he and his squeeze always slept in
