It would mean that the electrical system is not isolated..this an Amel principle to minimise galvanic corrosion
All the battery negative connections in Amel boats are isolated from the ground

is:
Between 1800 and 2000 rpm: 85 C
Between 2100and 2300 rpm: 87 C
At 2800 max rpm: After 10 min. 92 C
stable

I measured a couple of times when it was really warm and the engine runs at ~168f degree on top of the valve housing.

To me it is not clear why many owners with the Volvo TMD22P can only reach 2200 rpm. I had injectors rebuilt, heat exchanger cleaned, etc. everything check, didn’t changed. Then

My Volvo never got to maximum rpm until I re-propped, but after re-propping with a prop that was sized and pitched according to a prop shop in Norfolk, it did 7.5 kts at 2800rpm on flat water. With

You are right but why only 2200 on ful max Speed i go with 2800 and flat water with 8.4 kn with Perkins 80hp

We have 110hp Ynamar and I think you have a bit more power in reserve when the going gets tough.
Probably not much difference in flat water.
