We follow the same port-pole retrieval procedure as noted by Bebe, with one exception. Rather than having the long-pole so close to the rail, we leave it much higher. Otherwise, it can swing in

If you bent the shaft of the rocna 25, it is because it was too light. The 33 fits on my without modifcation.

On my Santorin #84 I have a Spade, works perfectly. And on th right bow locker I preserve the old CQR, not working well like Spade. The chain is 10mm by 70m, found on the boat as original.

How big is the repair. Would a waxed silicone mould of an undamaged part of the deck hold uncured gelcoat allowing you to get the look you want. Might be worth trying as an experiment. Regards

Same deal as Kent.... lower the topping lift a bit, but not too much...we have black tape on the white line to know where to go to, so if it hits anything it hits the rail...its a lot easier with two
