October 2015 : My light goes down to zero after 20 sec. testing with the switch to minus, 30 minutes later light is on again ... measured 0,05 mAmp.
I measured 0,22 Volt between Minus and bonding

I had and still have a light on the minus when my audio is connected from the CD box to the main Bose system under the forward saloon seat.

Probably, using the silicone allows the "filling-in" of irregular bumps and cracks in the gasket and the casing...it creates a better seal, especially when using an old gasket.

Bill!Thank you I don not think that kind of silicon is available in Finike where I am (ca 75 nM east of Fethiye), would "normal" outdoor one component silicon do the job?

Sand as much as you can off of the casing, then prime it with metal primer before using a top coat of epoxy paint. You should probably paint the gray color part at the same time. I have seen the

I have dismantle the casing over the headsail furler motor, everything looked to my amatör eyes rather ok
some carbon dust that I vacuumed away.

Danny, I thought it to be a long shot and I know you usually find water in the oil. I thought perhaps a flaw in the gasket away from a oil passage but getting to a cylinder could result in lost
