Re: [Amel Yacht Owners] Bow thruster
Hi Walter,
Where are you?
We are in New Zealand waiting for weather to take us to Fiji.
Do you have any photos of this bowthruster drain pipe arrangement that you have and I don't?
Cheers

Thanks Danny,
I've been all around the back between the stainless plate and the lamp housing and can't find anything that moves.

Thanks, but can you give me a bit more detail?
I've tried prying from the top, bottom and side with a small screwdriver and can't find anything that moves.

Yes we have the wooden panel with the perspex hinged top to access the pin, not the curtain.
I can confirm there is only one pipe and valve and that is for the anchor locker.

Hi Joel,
Yes, the loss of Morning Dove is very sad, but of course we’re glad that the entire crew was safely rescued. We met Bruce and saw Morning Dove last spring in Puerto Escondido, Baja

Looking at the pictures of the vessel in question, it appears to be a Maramu. Consider the shape of the side windows on its hard dodger.
An unfortunate incident, this of Morning Dove, and a reminder

I have been following Bruce via his Youtube videos on SV Morning Dove. Unless there is some confusion, Morning Dove is a Maramu 46, not a Super Maramu. This is very sad news indeed.
