Hi all,
As a prospective AMEL owner (hopefully not too long now), I can vouch for all that has been said - potential buyers are active searching every forum, sometime for years before 'going public'.

What you are both referring to is the C-drive. The transmission is that clunky thing between the C-drive and the motor which needs it own oil. The C-drive has a reservoir with a “fill line”. Eight

Eric,
Alexandre is correct. Jabsco changed the design of the part and did not change the part number. I searched high and low for an old style base and am convinced none are available.

Fabio,
I cannot be sure, but I believe the hose from the expansion tank (you call it a cube) is either blocked or crimped.
If it is blocked you cannot add oiil and oil will not drain properly

Re: [Amel Yacht Owners] Problem changing transmission oil on Santorin 1991
Good evening Fabio,
first question: do you know how much oil you drained from the transmission?
The first Santorins, maybe up to n°40, had the first type of transmission, with aluminum housing.
