You have a pipe “elbow” that for some strange reason was drilled and tapped to turn it into a pipe cross. As you discovered, this is not a good idea.
You need a real standard pipe “cross”

Yes, it looks modified, but I cannot tell for sure because I have the AMFA 66B, which is different from what you have.
Hopefully someone else has your model.

The main issue I currently have, is the brass fitting at the supply side of the water pressure tank. Some one has just taken a 90 degree brass fitting,

I agree with the preemptive approach. With the handrails I am unclear on how they are fastened. Are there nuts under the headliner or???

Since Amel installed at least two different systems, it may help if you start with a photo of yours or the brand of the pump. It may even be possible that none of what you have is Amel

At Budget Marine, the AAA/10206 looks to be, and measures exactly the same as the Amel installed switch. It is made of marine brass and plastic and sells for about $24USD. The Trinidad Budget
