My problem is that I find it very hard to just spray fresh water on deck and let it run into the ocean... Leaves me all anxious and puckered.
Old conservation habits die hard!

Mark Hanna, who owns Sharki #49 Marguerite, suggested to use “tooth paste” to remove scratches from the windshield and it worked very well for me!

I use PLEXUS plastic cleaner preservative. Seals all clear plastic and makes it easier to flush salt, bird giftings, and dirt from the dodger without scratching it. Great stuff. Expensive as great

How ever you solve it. The most important is that you use a LOT of water to rinse the salt crystals away. They make terrible scratches on the windows.

Hi all,
I am in the process of getting insurance for an Amel 54 and was wondering what owners were paying for this coverage for a 54. I read the older posts about pros and cons of different policies

Re: Maramu mainsail furling issues
Thanks Eric.
I think I'll make a replacement from a little block of plywood wrapped in glass and epoxy and sanded down to size. Either that or have one machined to match from aluminum over at FKG.
