There could be many reasons for these two apparently unrelated events. I believe that it is likely that it could be as simple as the rocker switches or thermostat in the wrong positions, or a breaker

I do not know the quantity for a Maramu. A SM or 54 is 20 liters for 2 coats plus a third coat at the waterline and leading edges, leaving 1-2 liters left over on a SM. I suspect that 3 each of

I guess this looks like the rudder holder plate bolts passage on the Maramu
check picture attached - taken when rebuiding the rudder last year.
on the Maramu the anodes are on the rudder,

We have the rudder zincs and the prop zinc. I believe the other grounding plate is for the SSB radio.

Yes, that is amazing that you can use a stainless steel pan scrubber on the Copper Coat. No doubt the bottom of the keel would fair better in a minor grounding than softer antifouling.

I believe that there have been many modifications to that Mango. I seem to remember a late model Mango that had the zincs on the rudder like Santorins, SMs, 54s, 55s, and 64s. I am not sure of

Agree, the final dry application seems pretty thin, but it is very hard and very durable. I can't think of anything else you can vigorously attack with a stainless steel pan scrubber!

Thank you all for your input, we are rather convinced that CC will work good for us. However we will shop around for a good yard who can do it at a reasonable cost. We have to leave the boat somewhere
