I would be very interested in peoples experience in replacing the AMFA Marina bilge pump in terms of fit-up. I plan to buy a spare and have it ready for the day the AMFA fails.

Ryan,
Exactly what I was thinking. I had the design in my head, and Bill R's design on the forum was certainly a better iteration of my thoughts, but we all have our priorities... Heck, it took

And, if you look in the photo section you will find a drawing of cam levers that I had made out of teak 12 years ago.

Anyone with DEKA freedom style batteries...
Pull the plastic label off and check the water level. You will certainly be adding distilled water.
Check them monthly.

Bill, I had the same idea when I first saw how the door worked :) But I assumed I would need to fabricate my own cam, so that was way down the priority list. This looks like a fantastic solution,

Re: [Amel Yacht Owners] Re: Manual mainsail furler
Duane, I appreciate the suggestion, I will take it off and have a look. I am hoping it just needs a good cleaning , if not I may ask where you accessed the bearing , seals ,etc.
Thanks Again,
Pat

Re: Manual mainsail furler
Pat,
If you need to remove the top tapered bearing, put the top part of the case with the bearing (cleaned of oils and grease of course) in your oven as high as it will go. When you take it out,
