Re: [Amel Yacht Owners] Do you want a spare Linear Actuator control board?
adding a fuse to the PCB on the bowthruster is quite simple. I added one to the + wire
on the pcp in a small fuse holder.

Thanks Craig. That's reassuring to hear you say that about the 3300 hrs on the Volvo, because there are many other nice upgrades on the 1999 I am attracted to. And sounds like the rigging

Very exciting, Paul, and early welcome to the DB.
Can't really say anything about the specific boats, of course, but, in general, 3300 on the Volvo should not be an issue if it's been well maintained.

Wow, Herbert, that sounds very good, indeed. Yes, there are many options to the old legacy designs running at fixed (and inefficient) rpm that give quiet(er) operation, better fuel economy, cleaner

Thru-hull fitting for Depth
Can someone tell me about if the OEM thru-hull fitting for the Airmar depth sensor is a 51mm housing?
Mine is marked D800-P498 on the tag attached to the sensor wire, and "20-386-02" is printed on

Although I've not had to do it aboard, I have previously had to re-tap a hole like this.
I drilled it to the next size and tapped it, then inserted a "Heli-Coil" thread insert to bring it back to

I had what I thought was a similar problem. I used a longer fully threaded bolt and all has been fine for years.
