Re: [Amel Yacht Owners] Re: SM Batteries
Great, thanks Mark. I’ve already ordered from them and should be able to pick up when I get back from NC in 2 wks. Great idea to use battery cases to check the fit. I didn’t know you could do

Amel 54 Foresail furlers
Hi Forum,
A while ago I noticed a conversation about getting new furlers for the Amel 54 at a group rate. Does someone know what the actual state of this initiative is?
Thanks,
Arno Luijten

Re: SM Batteries
Hi Colin,
There's probably little doubt that attaching the extra 300W of solar directly to your battery bank did them more harm than good. The constant 28.8V from the alternator doesn't help either if

Kent,
I don't know where you are planning on getting your batteries from but I highly recommend that you check this local Annapolis place for before you buy anything:

Hi Paul,
Antigua might prove more expensive but there must be a source to cope with all the a/c units out there. I can't remember what the mains voltage is in Antigua. I suspect 220V

Re: [Amel Yacht Owners] amel Santorin
Yes, have seen a Santorin here in LeMarin, Martinique some weeks ago which was modified to L shaped.
But I don’t know whether they are still in Martinique or not.
What are you looking for?
