The problem was in my shore cable. I have no clue as to why this failure happened exactly when my generator was started up. Maybe it’s related, maybe not.

On Kimberlite, there is also a time delay switch in the transfer box that “waits” a few seconds before energizing the transfer relay.
It is similar to the ones in the climma AC units.That

The switch has checked out perfectly. The shore power (quai) contractors are normally closed, and the generator contactors are normally open. when the generator starts, the shore contactors are

Ok, inside there is a changeover switch, so we are in the right place :-)
It’s a Telemecanique LCI D40008 ... so now I will find the specs and carry out some tests ...

Today’s job was to replace the impeller in my generator. It was shredded, so I opened up the heat exchanger to clean it too, it was gunged up badly, so after cleaning all that I had a look at
