The tube probably should have a bonding wire on it but I don't think that mine do. The ball valve at the bottom of the hose does have one.
Forget the vinegar. It won't do anything. Use Sew

Aft Head Hose
I noticed that the hose that fills the tank has quite a bit of corrosion at the tank connection. Shouldn't this copper tube have a bonding wire? I posted a photo of it.

Thanks for the heads up Paul.
Our slider also showed signs of cracking. See attached photo. As it happened we stopped in at Hampton over night to allow weather to moderate off Hatteras and the shop
