Cow hitches have a tendency to slip if the pull isn't even. eg if you spend a long time on one tack in reasonable breeze, you'll probably end up with one sheet longer than the other.

Genoa sheet sizing
Hi there
My Genoa sheets need replacing
Currently I have 16mm polyester
they don’t run too well through the cars, the bowlines tend to get hung up on the lower fwd shrouds when tacking etc.
