Ric,
Most islands donot recognize YIT. Some require the hiring of an agent to obtain YIT exemptions. This will add to the cost and along with freight will put batteries about 40-50%hirer than USA

If you are still in the Bahamas I would suggest stopping in the USVI or St Maarten to get batteries. I think they will be cheaper. Someone correct me if I am wrong, but in Martinique

Re: Larger stove?
Force 10 has the burner in the back but they use a heat distribution-plate to spread the heat evenly. It works OK I would say, Noting beats a circulation oven but that seems a imposiblility for boat

Re: [Amel Yacht Owners] Toe pulley (headsail)
Yeah...I bought a set and I'm thinking the same thing, but maybe using Vectran with a polyester cover and pulled tight it may be OK....
I'm not back on the boat until the end of January, I'll install

Re: [Amel Yacht Owners] Toe pulley (headsail)
I don't want to step on any toes here, but I can't imagine how the pictured pulley could work. The ribs in the Amel pulley are meant to grip the jib-car positioning line so that it doesn't slide in

Re: Larger stove?
Arno,
Where is the oven burner in the Force 10?
Maybe all marine stoves have the burner in the back, but it leads to very uneven heat.
Thanks,
Duane

Toe Pulley Seekers,
I have received Bernard’s pulleys and they appear very well machined and of what looks to be a superb material (PETP). This instruction sheets also look well done and complete.
