BOW THRUSTER SANTORIN OIL
Dear all!
I will change my bowthruster seals and also want to change the oil in the thruster.
I found info regarding the oil quantity on the SM, but nothing about how much oil goes into the thruster

Good read and well stated Bill. I fly the ensign as large as I can with pride. I respect other nationalities who do the same. This fellow sounds like someone who wants the cake with no hand in baking

Flag etiquette
I believe that the “proper” way to fly the national ensign on a ketch is 2/3 up the topping lift or on the top of the mizzen mast. I have, of course, the stern mounted flag pole Amel provides.

Hi Scott -
Rebel Marine in Norfolk is awesome - have been there with Brevis (SM291) for several years - have developed a network of services that know Amels well in case you need anything.

Scott,
There is astate owned marina in Maryland that is perfect choice. It is inexpensive andvery well protected on all sides. If I recall the rate was about $800 per monthwith electric and water

Chesapeake Bay mooring/slip for 2 months?
Hi all,
We're in The Bahamas now heading to the Chesapeake area for a bit and plan to leave Tengah, our A54 for 2 months to visit family and travel overland.
I know many of you are either from there

We had a Porta-Bote. They are great rowing boats and the factthey fold to the size of a paddle board is a plus. They can be folded orunfolded in less than ten minutes. However, these are not good

Make sure the sail edge is protected from UV. When we came back from our 1 year cruise I had to replace the edge material of most of the sail

Hi Eric, we are also considering purchasing a porta bote. What model and size do you have and how do you store it while underway? Would it be possible to post a photo showing the dinghy

Re: Gears of bow thruster worn out after 12 times of use, two questions
Hi Willem
No issues with the end cap.
Everything Maud sent fitted perfectly EXCEPT the woodruff key!
The slot in the new gear was smaller than the old one, so I filed the key down to make it
