Hi. A PO left a spray can of vinyl adhesive on board. Whetever the odd corner has drooped it has been very efective. A quick squirt on the offending portion. Slap it up and it stays

Sorry to hear that you are having some vinyl adhesion problems on your 54. As I understand things, the toxicity is an issue with the older polyurethane foams used in the vinyl headliners so

Me too. I had understood that the problem was only with older boats, but obviously not the case. The thought of removing and re-doing these is very off-putting given the toxicity of the material.

Given the speed an frequency this is happening, you may want to check for galvanic corrosion. If the ground cable on your water-heater is somehow carrying a voltage potential this may cause
