In 2015, 2 months after we bought Viva (Hull #374) I realized that the black tank 90 valve was not working: vertical or horizontal same result.
The black tank cannot be closed ... embarrassing.

I tried the same. Spray adhesive from a home improvement store seems to work quite well.
And it isn't labeled "marine" so it's reasonably priced. :)

VERY familiar with that problem.
Our gearbox was actually past it's use by so we set to and cut through the gear to extract the shaft. It wouldn't come out even with a hydraulic press.

On a side note, we found the app ‘iWatchSat’ very useful to find out sat coverage. It’s very simple and it helps to plan your call/grib fetch.

Thanks Dan right now I keep mine in the Aft Lazarette there’s a place to mount it but it’s a pain keeping it on the Rail seems like a better option
