Re: DST800 Thru-Hull Transducer / analogue as replacement for sonic sensor
Hello,
I have changed the sonic speed for a DST 800 analogic.
It doesn’t work because the sounder is 200 kHz on the DST Airmar and 170 kHz on the B&G.

Ian,
Thanks, your review makes sense, and... Very helpful to me.. I also inherited a boat with FLS (Echo Pilot), and loved it! Knowing that your Echo Pilot made it 20 years makes me like the product

Hi All, I say all because this thread has certainly created interest. We have the Interphase FLS. Like radar and it seems many other FLS units it needs experience and interpretation. I find it useful

Re: Deck painting
Eric is correct,
Apply a thin layer, wait a little and and remove any excess with a lint-free cloth.
For your boat half liter is enough ( ± 15 £ ).
The results are amazing.

Re: Deck painting
Hi,
Polytrol label states that the product should be applied with a lint free cloth. Wait 10 minutes and wipe off the excess. If you leave it on without wiping off the excess the deck will be sticky

Re: SM2K Lewmar ST 58 winch ELS control box p/n 48000222
Here's a source for $370.95, (regular $616.70). I know absolutely nothing about them or the part, which seems to have a few "Types".
Caveat emptor and all that but send me 10% of the savings ;-)
