I am also very interested in this PVC manifold.May be, we could use the free valve in the A 54 to regularly flush the system with fresh water.

I had the same problem. The plastic seat was totally busted.
After contacting Amel, they told me they cannot supply a replacement, so I looked on line.

I didn't coat them with anything. As to longevity, I only have two or three years up so far but I have no reason to expect them to fail prematurely.
