Hi Ulrich,
We have 6V AGM batteries in a series parallel arrangement with balancers on each string of 4.
We have no issue with vapor as the batteries are AGMs, The balancers are in the battery

As you know all Amels seem to be loaded heavily in the stern, so anything you can find a place for toward the bow is a benefit, and when on a long passage it is nicer to have the sugar

We run the same dink as delos on Wake. I too can't understand the physics of that setup... Though they are clearly far more experienced than us, it seems a disaster waiting to happen. We keep our 3.3m
