Re: How to get the gearbox from the boom
Hi Willem,
An option I used was to remove the boom and take it to a machine shop with a proper press and blocking pieces. Easier and less prone to damage from pounding, etc. Plus inexpensive and not

We run it off of a victron Quattro 5 KW inverter with no issues so I have to imagine it would work fine with a generator. It

Do you have the "motor starter" which will lessen the initial current draw?
There is a "yachting package" they sell on the Bauer Junior II. Do you have that? That package has auto condensate drain

I agree with that absolutely....if you overheat the engine for whatever reason, it will have enormous consequences.
No manufacturer can guard against that kind of issue.

When I bought Kimberlite from Amel, I noticed the Vetus plastic mufflers. I ordered spares before I left the dock. Sure enough 3 years later we were motor sailing and a crew member said I think there

Re: MERIT A55#003 - 10 year-old electronics
I asked Furuno this exact question and the rollover problem is solved until July 16, 2039. For me, that is good enough.
