Re: Dometic CRX-140
Thanks Andreas!
Based on your input I’ve ordered one and will hope to see it midweek or later (given that I’m in Italy, I’m counting more on the “later” part ;-)

Hello Alan
I like your safety conscious approach about having everybody on watch being clipped to the Jackline and the extra on around the mast.
where do you tie up the one in the cockpit ? A picture

Many people have disabled the motors, operating the dish in a flat position. Supposedly, this reduces drop outs and doesn’t affect signal strength.

Re: Spur cutter
It is worth considering having a second Spurs cutter, so you can rotate them around every haulout, whilst one is being sharpened and having a new anode fitted. Something to consider.

Hi Chuck,
It looks like your line cutter should be sharpened. If you are in the USA send it to Spurs to have it sharpened.

This is very unfortunate to hear. The "Amel special" turnbuckle for under the genoa furler was one of the reasons to use ACMO rigging. Hopefully, it was just a one-time mistake by a stock clerk, and

If you are going to drop the mast as you said. Then all will be laying horizontal. You can extract the forestay from the foil without removing anything else. The motor moves the foil. I'm not sure if
