If I remember correctly the watermaker draws about 13 amps while running and a lot more to start the motors. That would be a big inverter to start the watermaker. It would also draw about 3000 watts

Pat, what is the out put voltage of your gen set? If it is from Amel it is more then likely 220v. 50 cycle... Further the 220V from an inverter going to a 220 v high pressure pump. will NOT strain
