We changed /converted the Galley “Front door Fridge” to be Air-cooled (Air cooled compressor). Working well since years, also with 37 degree ambient temp.
We are very happy with this

Has anyone tried Ultraviolet light sea water sterilization as an alternative approach to prevent barnacles growing in AC system?
UV light has been used this way for well water and in air handlers.

I changed the FAN Capacitor which is the smallest one with 2 micro-farad. The existing (old) had only some nano-farad left. No marks or any unusual sign, nor burning smell.

You won’t get the benefit of free hot water while you’re running the engine or running the generator because you don’t have storage for the hot water
