Re: [Amel Yacht Owners] New sails
James
Like Kent I don’t have a wealth of experience to make judgements on. But for my pennyworth here are my experiences.
On my previous boat, Jeanneau 37, I was persuaded to have my new mainsail

Re: [Amel Yacht Owners] New sails
James,
I have only changed the headsail at sea one time, and even the 135 took all four crew to fold and stow. Since then, I have changed sails when at anchor, and even single handed I can manage it

James,
You asked: "Can anyone tell me if the special Amel locking mechanism for the ballooner which allows the removal of the halyard is adaptable to the Maramu?"
The swivel is what needs to be

I do not need a photo because these B&G 213 masthead units were on Amels for years.
I am sending you a private email.

I will send them an email to see. The sensors are fairly common and mine were replaced recently.

Re: 175 Amp Leece-Neville Alternator on Yanmar
Duane,
There are two types of these connectors - one with just a screw and one that also has a stainless steel wire protector tab. The set screw compresses the tab onto the wire and prevents damage

Hello,
It is time for a new set of working sails for Sueno and I was hoping to get some input on what seems to work out the best. I am considering the tri-radial hydranet for the cloth but open

Alexandre,
I agree with what you, there are certainly others such as the ones on your list that also deserve credit for their many contributions.
