Hi Pat,
Yes, it was crazy high. Same situation as yours, with Pantaenius paying for nearby lightning damage. Boat was on a freighter so it was shipper's Pantaenius policy for "marine cargo" insurance.

There is a relay to activate the solenoid that switches the power from the shore power to the genset when the genset is

I believe that Cartagena should not be missed. Many cruisers were going there for Christmas when we were in that part of the Caribbean. It is a wonderful and safe European styled walled city. I
