We had this problem when we bought Elyse. We replaced the line with 12mm Vectran and have had no problems since. The Andersen line tender jaws work much better with 12mm than 10mm

I rigged the outhaul line just as Amel had done it. I cut it to size with a hot line cutter. I used the outhaul winch to tighten the line.
