Hi Ian,
Windlass-You remove the fill cap and use a hand pump to remove the old oil.

Lofrans anchor winch
I want to change the oil in my Lofrans.
How can you drain the old oil ?
How much to refill -- can you overfill the oil reservoir ?

Hi Craig,
Thanks for that. The wire in the railing goes through the tensioner…… :(
I have it all off now and the furler is on the bench with the gearbox awaiting surgery….
Just need to get it

Re: [Amel Yacht Owners] Salt Water in Bilge in hallway next to fwd head.
Eric has a Santorin, not sure of hull number. No air conditioners, so most likely the bow thruster. There are some good instructions on how to tweak the tension on the cable, I think in the files

Hi John. We missed you when we visited Port Douglas the other week. You were out sailing of all things.
Wondering if there is a day this week that we could catch up with you and have a look over

Re: [Amel Yacht Owners] chain size
Vladimir,
I may be wrong, but I think that you have two options that you may not have considered:
Buy a new gypsy from Lofrans to match the 31mm pitch...I think that Lofrans makes 3 different 10mm

Eric,
You may get better responses if you explain the year and model if your Amel and whether or not you have a bow thruster.
AND, what you have investigated and eliminated. This is not the first
