I can't comment on the Velox, but two things come to mind.
If you leave your boat in the water for any length of time, the black plastic bags trick Joel taught us really works! I was gone 10 weeks

Have someone stand in the fwd head while you operate the furling switches.
If you hear the solenoids clicking, its probably the brushes as Danny says...we do clean them every few

Jeff,
We have Lifeline AGM batteries and they are holding up great. I don't see any downside--other than the initial cost premium over flooded batteries.

Mohammad,
Did that solenoid set fail?
I think that solenoid set is over built for the task. I would be surprised if it failed.

Pat,
This will be our first haul-out so I can't recommend anyone. Tiger Point Marina is not a good place for a slip, heavy current and shallow water. We'll have to go in at/near high tide.

Enio,
Is there an obvious reason that these are no longer aligned? I think it can be adjusted into alignment.

I never had need to adjust mine, it has stayed in good form. As long as the activator touches the switch enough to depress it as the thruster rises, it is good. If it misses the switch,
