I'll send you a picture of the same unit I've just installed on Island Pearl II last week where you can clearly see how Quick have added this bypass valve and pipe to the standard Quick B3 units

Like John Hayes, I found that a little solvent was useful after peeling off the old letters. I used ethanol to good effect (on the glue residue, not me). Without using the solvent I found that dirt

Hi Alex, it wasn't me. The paint underneath your lettering will not be sun-bleached like the surrounding paint. I chose to remove the old decal lettering with a razor blade, and used rubbing

If you have vinyl letters rather than paint, you should try a heat gun. Not too hot to burn the gelcoat. The gelcoat under the letters will appear a different color because the vinyl has blocked the

If the lettering is vinyl, you should be able to peel it off using a single edge razor to get a corner started. Wetting it as you peel will help.

Ours were from Qsails also.
And ditto everything Mark Pitt said. There are several other SM owners that report the same.
Tahsin Oge ships his sails worldwide and is the loft for Hood Sails.
