Kent,
I am so sorry to hear that you might not be sailing again.
If you are unable to keep your boat you can always go for a ride with us on a passage.

Re: [Amel Yacht Owners] Yanmar-Vetus coupling plate
Hi Eric,
Sorry, but I'm in NC and the boat is in Panama. I had to come home earlier than planned to deal with a family crisis. Not sure when or even if I'll get to continue my sailing

Hi Kent,
May I buy-rent the aluminum disk that you made to install your yanmar in place of the vetus coupling. We will be both in the USA at Christmas.

Re: [Amel Yacht Owners] painted rigging
I'd try compounding and waxing first. If the surrounding paint is sunbleached, you could repaint or wait for Mother Nature to do it for you.

Hello Stephen,
the purpose of the small swages on the mizzen mast top shrouds is indeed to support stainless steel tubes for a full cockpit awning. They were installed as a standard on the SM 2000

Hi John,
Yes, we just did ours.
Disconnect the old wire below. Then open the access plate at the base of the mast and fish out the wire. Now, SECURELY attach a messenger line to the end of the cable.

painted rigging
Hi everybody,
I have removed some lettering from the mizzen boom and the white paint underneath the stickers is shinier.
Does anyone know a safe way to even out the aspect?
Thanks
