Simply setting the chargers to AGM may not be sufficient in some cases.
For example, our Trojan AGM batteries specifically require a float charge of 27V... which is less than the default Mastervolt

Not all Dolphin chargers are adjustable for types of batteries. However, all of the Dolphins originally installed on 54s are adjustable. Later hull number SMs were also adjustable

It is supposed to make a gurgling sound.
Possibly the sound has changed because you have some restriction in the raw water pathway?

Your B&G manual should give you setting procedures for the analog gauges.
If the problem is the analog gauge, be sure to try Tinley Electronics in the UK. They will repair, refurbish, and rebuild

I had a similar experience. Our anti siphon is located at the raw water disposal end of the heat exchanger and disposes the water in the mixing elbow. This is to prevent water from siphoning
