Re: [Amel Yacht Owners] Re: Engine mountreplacement
FYI if the coupling itself needs to be completely replaced, the best price I found was Jamestown dustributers out of Rhode Island (part KO53) has the best price of $263USD. Best of luck!!!

Re: Engine mountreplacement
If they are the original Vetus hydraulic mounts then there's a good chance one or two of the mounts are shot by now. Look for a seperation or bulging of the rubber from the top cap or check the height

Thanks B & J,
I believe it should be the same and actually spotted the pipe and the valve before, but seems like the only access to Chain locker hole is through the same joint of the pipe.

I do something slightly different to what Alan does, in that I start the tack under full sail, but then quickly let the Genoa sheets loose before furling so that there is less strain on the furler.

Re: [Amel Yacht Owners] Chain Locker Drainage
I am not sure because I have little experience with a Santorin, but a Super
Maramu's chain locker drains into the gray water sump. There is a valve
below the bow thruster that needs to be open for it

Yes I know that, but don't use True Wind as a measurement. We use the function to sail on a wind angel, and the figures you use, and get, is apparent.
