Re: [Amel Yacht Owners] Re: Maramu blisters
I had Osmosis on my previous boat and did the job correctly.. as you seem to have done also.. and then applied 4 coats of Coppercoat.
One aspect I would be careful with is the area of through hulls.

I have unfortunatelysome experience with Osmosis, in fact two of my previous boats had osmosis.
Firsttime I had it treated immediately I saw it. They “gently” sandblasted thebottom and after one

Hello Chris,
I toyed with similar ideas to yours for the dining table but as Bill said, you would be better off with good cockpit cushions. A friend owned an SM; he and his squeeze always slept in

Thanks again. The liquid that came out did seem very caustic.

Banging main furler foil without a sail.
No one posted this problem but I always found it very annoying when I am having my main sail repaired. The foil bangs around in the mast.
To alleviate this noise I finally came up with a good

As a PS,
Wear goggles as the liquid in the blisters is quite caustic.
You might want to just grind a small hole in the blister and let it drain and then come back and sand it when it is dry.

Buy a peeler to remove the gel coat for about $500.00 and peel it in two days and apply epoxy in one day. Just need a yard that lets you do your own work. Two kinds of peelers. One thousand dollars

Chris,
You have not spent many nights on that SM. At some point, the flopping stopped bothering us...We don't even hear it. It is not worth tampering with the table...just my opinion.
