Just to clarify, I wasn't trying to criticize Chantiers Amel in any way. We can't expect them to support a model indefinitely. I know many parts that would be available for a SM or 54 are not

On SM 243 there is a solenoid switch in the gas(z) locker that is operated by the switch on the 24V panel. It may be stuck in the closed (ferme) position. Tap it with a wrench and see what

i presume that the pannels are in french(because of "GAZ). Then, i'll mean that "O = OUVERT = OPEN and F=FERMÉ =CLOSE.

Thanks for all the information; I will run down all these possibilities. I do have a partial fix already: I cleaned the screen filters on the mixer units and immediately had satisfactory pressure
