Re: [Amel Yacht Owners] Re: firearms
For the record... I certainly did not want to start a debate about this. I was looking for the exact responses that I received and really appreciate the input. Obviously there are many strategies

Us Brits don’t seem to carry guns on the whole and the natural inclination is to moor up near a USA registered boat for safety as US guys are always armed!!

This is some general information.
I contacted Maud (SAV"at"Amel.fr) for typical haul out parts for our next haul out. My intention was to ship them VAT-free to Gibraltar, carry them to the Caribbean,

I think Dennis is absolutely correct, and I agree with him. I think Alan is correct also about Cruisers Forum, but...

I'm not sure which American football coach said it about forward passes but I think it applies to firearms on board as well, "Three things can happen and two of them are bad."

Re: 24V outlet in aft cabin
Duane,
In our SM there's 24V at a large terminal block in the aft most cupboard on the port side of the aft cabin. I think it supposed to be for a dinghy inflator (which we don't have). Perhaps you

Re: firearms
Bill,
It is totally up to you and the authorities that you will meet in different countries - do your research.
If you are a firearms type of person you probably will carry one.
If you are not then

Re: [Amel Yacht Owners] LED deck lamps
You could shoot a video on the front deck for that matter, it is extremely bright. If you put this thing on at night, you will for sure loose your night vision :-)
