Maybe a thin layer of nylon could be placed between the block and the boom? I think I'll order one of the foot blocks and see if I can make it work.

The block that Amel used on Kimberlite seems to have been a fiddle block with the swivel removed and the end sheave removed. I have looked at many blocks to replace mine however I find one

Those foot blocks are the nearest thing that I have seen. The blocks on Seafever are Anatal and original,still in good condition.
I think Eric mentioned that Amel had probably modified

I too have had a three failures over the past 12 years. The hose has never failed but the connector has. A couple of months ago I noticed the water maker pressure had dropped to just below the green
