What is your Amel Model, engine type, and hull number?
Have you checked for a fouled prop...even mono-filament fishing line or one big barnacle

We are in Wilmington, still learning the boat. I am sorry you have experienced the Volvo problems. I am not aware of similar issues in other 54s.
Our plan is to head south in December.

I just removed and reinstalled a new furler on our 54. The motor at first appears wider than the profile but it is not. You have to make sure that you have removed the 4 upper screws and the

I installed a Frigoboat 135L (vs 80 L previously) with keel cooler. Compressor is at the bottom of the adjoining cabinet. Very efficient and cools hard and fast.
