I always had the subjective impression that the vessel is not horizontal (no list). Today I checked

Paul,
I added the picture to Bill Rouse's photo album titled "Fuel Storage Options".

Looking forward to your photos, My idea was to use it as a day tank and pump "manually" from the Main tank through the current Racor filter, Then I should have clean fuel in the secondary tank, and

Re: [Amel Yacht Owners] Aftermarket Deck fitting recommendations
We used Garhauer for all our running rigging upgrades:

They are great (cheaper than other competitors) and can do custom work if needed

I've never used a swivel. Most everything I read is that they aren't necessary and that they can be a weak link. I've certainly never seen any need for one. I have the Rocna 40, too, and I

Check the swivel from www.swi-tec.com.
Just remember to put a piece of chain between the anchor and the swivel, that will make your swivel last longer and will not be stroyed when anchor goes up and

We recently changed our large Stainless CQR anchor for a galvanized Rocna 40, and will keep the CQR as our spare. (By the way the Rocna 40 seems is a perfect fit on the Super Maramu.)

Yes I mean Polyethylene, Jerry cans etc are blow molded or rotation molded if larger, but when you make on purpose they are usually welded, is that good enough?

Paul,
I believe that you mean High Density Polyethylene. Polyester is the resin material used most often with glass to form fiberglass. HDPE does work well for fuel when the tank is properly made
